Chris Cross z Ultravox nie żyje
W wieku 71 lat zmarł współzałożyciel i długoletni basista grupy Ultravox Chris Cross.
Chris Cross czyli Christopher Thomas Allen zmarł 25 marca, ale o jego śmierci dopiero teraz poinformował wokalista Ultravox - Midge Ure:
Chris Allen. We worked together, we played together, made music and directed videos together. We were instant friends as well as Ultravox comrades. Even after years apart we managed to pick up where we left off like the years in between never existed. You were the glue that held the band together. You were the logic in the madness and the madness in our lives. It was great to know and grow with you. You are loved and missed old friend.
Cross był basistą Ultravox od powstania zespołu aż do 1987 roku, kiedy to grupa po raz pierwszy zakończyła działalność. Nie wziął udziału w reaktywacji w latach 90-tych, ale dołączył do Ultravox w 2008 roku, kiedy to grupa wróciła w klasycznym składzie i nagrała fenomenalny album "Brilliant".
